The California Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement, Sacramento, is accepting new members for its 2010-11 fiscal year.

To participate in the program, eligible companies need to sign up by April 1, according to a news release. Current members do not need to sign up again but any members who want to terminate their membership need to do so in writing April 1.

LGMA has 104 members, with two member certifications pending, representing 99% of California’s leafy green volume.

Fourteen leafy green products covered by the LGMA: arugula, baby leaf lettuce, butter lettuce, cabbage, chard, endive, escarole, green leaf lettuce, iceberg lettuce, kale, red leaf lettuce, romaine lettuce, spinach and spring mix.
