(Nov. 11, 7:19 p.m.) The Orlando, Fla.-based National Mango Board is educating children about mangoes using an interactive online game called Jango Geography.

Found on the board’s Web site, www.mango.org/geography teaches children about geography, flavor and health benefits of mangoes.

“Interactive games are a great way to connect with kids,” mango board director of marketing Wendy McManus said in a news release. “This fun learning activity introduces kids to the healthy fun and flavor of mangos to help us create lifelong, loyal mango lovers. With the help of this game, children can interact with mangoes on a whole new level.”

Featuring colorful characters and six different games, the game provides educational maps, quick facts and an activity booklet with coloring sheets.

Jango Geography is part of the board’s initiatives teaching children about healthy eating habits through mangoes, according to the release.
