(April 7) A new marketing campaign from Mann Packing Co. Inc., Salinas, Calif., could potentially reach 4.5 million health-conscious Web users each month.

Advertisements featuring the brand of Mann Packing on www.weightwatchers.com went live March 1 and will last through December, said Lorri Koster, spokeswoman for the company.

Visitors to the site can print out a coupon worth 55 cents off any Mann product.

The campaign complements Mann’s advertising on www.allrecipes.com, which targets home cooks.

All marketing endeavors are designed to drive fresh-cut sales, Koster said.

Enhancing that effort is a new store locator on its Web site, www.veggiesmadeeasy.com, expected to go live in mid-April. It allows users to locate stores in their area where they can purchase Mann’s products.

It also serves as a tool for Mann to report to its retail customers how many consumers it’s bringing their way, Koster said.
