CPS 2013 research results now available onlineSummaries and full technical reports for 22 research projects funded by the Center for Produce Safety are now available online.

The research, presented earlier this year at the center’s annual research symposium, had two overriding themes, according to two of the top scientists at the Produce Marketing Association.

Bob Whitaker, PMA chief science and technology officer and Jim Gorny, PMA’s vice president for food safety and technology, have prepared top talking points on the themes of agricultural water and managing routes of produce contamination.

The condensed water “lessons” from the two PMA experts include sustainable water, water testing and managing water risks.

Whitaker and Gorny also provide short takes on produce contamination routes such as animal incursions and soil amendments.
