“Our snacking category is our largest growth segment,” said Tony Freytag, marketing director for Crunch Pak, Cashmere, Wash. “That says a lot, given our total business was up over 20% in the year we just finished.”

Crunch Pak’s newest kid-friendly snack-sized items include Grab and Go 5-ounce cups of sliced apples and grapes, and of apple slices with caramel dip; clamshells with five 2-ounce packs of sliced apples and five tubs of caramel; 5-ounce Apple Snackers trays with apple slices, cheese cubes and pretzels; and 2.5-ounce bags of apples slices with grapes.
