The Oppenheimer Group, Vancouver, British Columbia, promoted Nolan Quinn to berry category director in mid-June.

Quinn began work at Oppenheimer in 1995 as a marketing assistant and comes directly from being berry category manager. Since then, he has helped secure Oppenheimer’s place as Ocean Spray’s sole marketer for cranberries internationally and blueberries in North America.

“Nolan has played an instrumental role in strategically developing our berry business over the last several years,” Josh Leichter, vice president of East Coast sales, said in a news release. “Berries are an exciting category with significant potential for Oppenheimer and for our growers and customers. Nolan’s expertise will enable us to dedicate even greater efforts to this key area.”

Quinn will continue to work with Ocean Spray as berry director, expanding distribution in North America and Europe as well as making blueberries a year-round commodity.
