PMA hires Central American representative

Felipe Perez joined Newark, Del.-based PMA Oct. 1, according to an association news release. He will attend PMA’s Fresh Summit convention in Orlando, Fla., Oct. 15-18.

Perez’s hiring reflects a growing membership base in Central America and the association’s continued outreach to the global produce industry, according to the release.

Perez has worked as a consultant in agriculture and other fields and is a part-time professor at the INCAE Business School, which has campuses in Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

PMA also has representatives in Australia, Chile, Mexico, New Zealand and South Africa.
