(Sept. 19) EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. — A seasoned produce salesman is the newest marketing director at the Northern Plains Potato Growers Association.

Paul Budziszewski took on marketing duties for the group in early September.

Budziszewski — who has more than 10 years of retail sales, produce brokering and customer service experience — most recently worked as a territory manager in wholesale produce for Advantage Sales and Marketing, Eden Prairie, Minn.

He served as a category management representative for Buy-Rite Produce Inc., St. Paul, Minn., from 1995-97 and worked in transportation and freight brokering for transportation companies in the Minneapolis area from 1992-95.

Budziszewski began his food sales experience as a produce broker for C.H. Robinson Co., Detroit, from 1991-92.

Budziszewski has a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, in 1990. He succeeds Nanci Dusso, who left the organization in March.
