WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA — Shipments light — Movement expected to increase as more growers begin harvesting. The first f.o.b. report was expected the week of Aug. 15.

MICHIGAN — Shipments (0-1-1) — Movement expected to increase. Harvest of paula red variety expected to begin the week of Aug. 22. Early season varieties are being harvested in southwest Michigan and are generally being diverted to local farm markets.

APPALACHIAN DISTRICT (MD-PA-VA-WV) — Shipments (0-0-1) — Movement expected to increase as light harvesting of ginger gold and galas begins. The first price report was expected the week of Aug. 15. FIRST REPORT.

NEW YORK — Movement was expected to begin the week of Aug. 15 with light harvest of paula red and ginger gold varieties. The first f.o.b. report was expected the week of Aug. 22.
