SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY — Shipments (19-28-36) — Movement expected to increase slightly as buyers shift from purchasing southern fruit. Trading moderate. Prices about unchanged. Various yellow-flesh varieties mostly bounty, topaz and PF 23. Half-bushel cartons 2¾- to 3-inch $12.40-13.40, 2½- to 2¾-inch mostly $9.40. An occasional grower is in a varietal gap. Quality and condition are very good.



CENTRAL GEORGIA — Shipments (30-26-15) — Movement expected to remain about the same. Trading early slow, late moderate. Prices higher. Half-bushel cartons various yellow-flesh varieties 3-inch and up mostly $9.40-10.40, 2¾-inch and up mostly $8.40-9.40, 2½-inch and up few sales $5.40-7.40, some consigned or prices to be established later. Primary varieties: sunprince, augustprince, summerlady and fay elberta. Season is starting to wind down as some shippers are in a supply gap in between varieties.



APPALACHIAN DISTRICT (MD-PA-VA-WV) — Shipments (13-10-14) — Movement expected about the same. Trading fairly slow. Prices about unchanged. Various yellow-flesh varieties mostly john boy, bounty and few loring ½-bushel cartons 2¾-inch minimum mostly $13, 2½- to 2¾-inch mostly $7-8.
