CARIBBEAN BASIN IMPORTS — Imports (3-5-5) — Imports via boat from Guatemala. Movement expected to remain about the same. Ports of entry: south Florida. Trading moderate. Prices lower. Haricots verts (French-type) 5-pound cartons mostly $5. Quality variable.



WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA — Shipments light — Movement expected to increase as more growers begin harvesting. First f.o.b. report was expected to be issued by the end of the week of July 5. FIRST REPORT



WESTERN AND CENTRAL NEW YORK — Light harvesting was expected to begin by July 16. Expect first f.o.b. prices in mid-July. FIRST REPORT.
