LEXINGTON DISTRICT, S.C. — Shipments (8-4-4) — Movement expected to remain about the same. Trading moderate. Prices Feb. 15, compared to Feb. 8, unchanged. Cartons loose kale $12, turnip tops $14 and mustards mostly $14. Various containers bunched/loose collard 6s mostly $11. Quality good.



LOWER RIO GRANDE VALLEY, TEXAS — Shipments (7-6-3) — Movement expected about the same. Prices cartons/crates bunched collard and turnip tops 24s mostly $12-12.85. Quality variable. Shippers report moderate freeze damage to collard and turnip tops and heavy freeze damage to swiss chard, dandelion, mustard, kale and kohlrabi. Reportable volumes are expected to resume in early March. Very light harvest is expected to continue until early March when reportable volumes are expected to resume.
