Prices higher. Cartons 24s mostly $18.95-20.95; hearts 12 3-count packages mostly $22.55-24.47, film-lined 48s mostly $24.75-27.47. Quality variable. Freezing temperatures and high winds Feb. 3-5 stopped harvest and left romaine with blister and epidermal peel. Light damage was expected. Shippers expected lightweight heads and decreasing yields to continue through Feb. 17.
