SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO — Shipments (315-315-295) — Movement was expected to decrease slightly the week of July 12. Trading moderate. Prices yellow supercolossal, colossal and white medium higher, yellow medium, repacker size and red jumbo lower, others generally unchanged. Yellow grano 50-pound sacks supercolossal mostly $22-24, colossal $18-20, jumbo $17-18, medium $16-18, repacker size mostly $15, white 50--pound sacks jumbo $16-18, medium $14-15, red globe-type 25-pound sacks jumbo $17-18, medium $12-14.



SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY, CALIF. — Shipments (169-243-280) — Movement expected to decrease slightly as red flat shippers finish up. Trading moderate. Prices red flat-type slightly higher, yellow jumbo and colossal and red sacks lower, others generally unchanged. Yellow hybrid 50-pound sacks colossal mostly $17, jumbo mostly $15-16, medium mostly $16. Red globe-type 25-pound sacks jumbo $14, medium mostly $10, red flat-type 40-pound cartons mostly $18-19.



VIDALIA DISTRICT, GA. — Shipments (111-100-101) — Movement was expected to decrease slightly as a few growers expected to finish shipping the week of July 12. Trading fairly active. Prices higher. Yellow granex marked sweet U.S. 1 40-pound cartons jumbo $26-28, medium mostly $22-24. Organic yellow granex marked sweet 40-pound cartons jumbo $34, master container 12 3-pound mesh sacks medium $34.



COLUMBIA BASIN, WASH., AND UMATILLA BASIN, ORE. — Shipments (26-71-69, includes export of 7-18-22) — Movement expected to decrease as some shippers make the transition from over-wintered onions to transplants or direct seeded varieties. Trading moderate. Prices lower. Yellow hybrid 50-pound sack jumbo $15-16, medium $16-17.



WALLA WALLA DISTRICT, WASH. — Shipments (20-23-33, includes export 3-4-4) — Movement expected to remain about the same. Trading moderate. Prices lower. Yellow Walla Walla Sweets 40-pound carton colossal mostly $23, jumbo mostly $21-22.
