NORTHWEST WASHINGTON — Shipments (28-29-35) — Movement expected to decrease seasonally. Trading fairly slow. Prices generally unchanged. Round red U.S. 1 50-pound cartons size A mostly $18, size B mostly $16-18, creamers $32-34.



NORTHERN COLORADO DISTRICT — Shipments (28-36-17) — Movement expected to remain about the same. Supplies in too few hands to establish a market.



IMPERIAL VALLEY, CALIF. — One Kern shipper expected to have limited supplies available to ship out of their desert deal the week of March 14; other shippers of desert potatoes won’t harvest until April. Shippers expect small profile initially, because of frost damage suffered in December and February. Low yields are also expected with shipments light and sporadic.
