(Oct. 16) US Farms Inc., San Diego, has signed a four-year sub-lease agreement for a 20,000-square-foot produce warehouse near the Los Angeles Wholesale Produce Market, according to a news release.

“This facility will be a significant distribution point for the produce foodservice side of our business and our West Coast center for all garlic sales,” Yan K. Skwara, president, said in the release.

The agreement, signed through California Produce Exchange Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of US Farms, will enable the company’s produce business to grow and will help expand distribution and sales in the Los Angeles area, the firm said.
