If you haven't already noticed, the 2013 Southeastern U.S. Vegetable Crop Handbook has been posted on The Grower and Citrus + Vegetable's websites.

The handbook is compiled by the Southeastern Vegetable Extension Workers Group, a team of university researchers and Extension specialists from 12 land-grant universities from Texas east to Florida and north to Tennessee and Virginia.

They represent a wide array of disciplines, including agricultural engineering, entomology, horticulture, plant pathology, post-harvest physiology, soil science and weed science.

The handbook was published by Vance Publishing Corporation, the Lincolnshire, Ill-based parent of The Grower and Citrus + Vegetable Magazine.

Hard copies of the guide will be distributed at the Southeast Regional Conference and Trade Show in Savannah, Ga., Jan. 10-13, and at other university functions throughout the year.

They also will be available from DuPont representatives, since DuPont was the major sponsor.

As in years past, we anticipate running out of hard copies before year's end.

But you can download the guide for free any time.
