The Environmental Working Group has released its 2011 list of what it says are the most contaminated produce items, nicknamed the "dirty dozen list."

The EWG instead wants consumers to buy organically grown produce.

But many people may not read past the headline to find out that nearly all of the residue levels in the recent U.S. Department of Agriculture report on which the EWG is basing its recommendations were still well within legal limits.
