A total of 62 percent of U.S. farms have Internet access, up from 59 percent in 2009.
DSL continues to be the most common method of accessing the Internet, with 38 percent of U.S. farms using it, according to a U.S. Department of Agriculture report.
That's up from 36 percent in 2009.
Dial-up access dropped to 12 percent in 2011 from 23 percent in 2009.
