Some beekeepers say that Australian bees that were imported into the United States carried colony collapse disorder, a mysterious maladay that has decimated managed bee colonies.

But many researchers, including those in the U.S. Department of Agriculture, have discarded the notion.

Australian officials also say their bees aren't at fault and point to the fact that they don't have colony collapse disorder in their country.
