Researchers from Michigan State University have found that scab resistance to the popular strobilurin fungicide class is widespread among apple orchards in the state.
There were only a few orchards sampled where they did not find resistance.
The strobilurin class of fungicides was first used in Michigan in 1999 when Sovran was registered.
