For the second straight year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is offering a total of $50 million in incectives for growers who are transitioning into organic practices.

The funding will be in the form of up to a 75-percent cost-share through EQIP, or the Environmental Quality Incentives Program.

Growers have until March 12 to apply through their local Natural Resources Conservation Service office.
