One of the first requests of the fruit and vegetable industry advisory
committee was to tour the White House garden when they convene again in
September. You have got to give it to the First Lady Michelle Obama for
kickstarting
the national and international conversation about healthy living when
she helped plant the first White House garden last year. Here is the
March 31 video of the First Lady, the most famous vegetable gardener in
the world, addressing the school kids that helped her plant the garden
last year and reprise that role this year. Also, watch for Agriculture
Secretary's Tom Vilsack leading
cheers for tomatoes and broccoli.
